Stafix among Finalists in Timangi Competition

Timangi is a competition that was organized by the Finnish Ministry of Employment and the Economy. It was organized for the first time in 2010 and it rewards young entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial teams with innovative ideas, who brought their company to growth through brave decisions and actions. The competition's aim is to encourage young people to entrepreneurship by showing good examples of entrepreneurial success.

The competition was open to companies registered in Finland whose entrepreneurs are between 18-32 years old.
The applicants were going through a three-phase selection process in which the selection panel was evaluating the companies' profitability, innovativeness, internationalization, brave action taking and their general success story. The evaluation paid special attention to the fact if the company has been able to employ other young people during its operations and thereby created new jobs.

In the Timangi 2010 competition Stafix Ltd made it to the ten finalists out of 89 candidates. CEO José Ayala and Sales & Marketing Director Aleksi Rastela were invited to the award ceremony in Helsinki in December 2010, where the three winners of the competition were announced.

The winner of the Timangi 2010 competition was Jaakko Alasaarela who is running the company ZEF Solutions Ltd, which develops Internet-based data collection and assessment tools.
